The 100-point Site & Infrastructure Assessment

Ten categories. Ten points each. One honest number — a scored, plain-language report on your public site, yours to keep.

Free, passive, opt-in review of your public site — powered by Watchtower. No login, no scanning, no obligation.

How does it work — and what will we never do?

The assessment is passive, opt-in, and self-submitted. You give us your own domain; we review what any visitor, browser, or search engine can already see on your public website — pages, headers, certificates, listings, load behavior. We do not run active vulnerability scans, penetration tests, or probes against anyone’s infrastructure, and we never assess a site without the owner’s consent. The “Watchtower” name comes from the operational intelligence platform used across the Wolfpack family — a command center view of technology, security, vendors, costs, and locations — which is the discipline this assessment borrows.

What are the ten categories?

Each scored out of 10 — published in full, so you know exactly what a “free audit” looks at before you ask.

Run mine

  1. Performance & Core Web Vitals10 pts

How fast your site actually loads and responds for real visitors — the same signals Google uses. Slow sites lose customers before they read a word.

  2. Security & Trust Infrastructure10 pts

Whether your site serves over HTTPS with a valid certificate, sends the security headers browsers expect, and avoids visible signs of neglect that make visitors (and browsers) distrust it.

  3. Mobile & Responsive Experience10 pts

How the site behaves on a phone, where most local customers will first meet you: readable text, tappable buttons, no sideways scrolling, no broken layouts.

  4. SEO Fundamentals10 pts

The basics search engines need: sensible titles and descriptions, one clear heading structure, a sitemap, crawlable pages, and structured data that says what your business is.

  5. Local SEO & Google Business Profile10 pts

Whether nearby customers can find you: a claimed and accurate Google Business Profile, consistent name-address-phone details across the web, and location signals on the site itself.

  6. Content Quality & Freshness10 pts

Whether the site says what you do, for whom, and where — in current, specific language. Stale dates, placeholder pages, and thin copy all cost trust and rankings.

  7. Conversion & Lead Capture10 pts

Whether a ready-to-buy visitor can act in one step: a visible phone number, a working form, clear calls to action, and no dead ends.

  8. Accessibility10 pts

Whether people using screen readers, keyboards, or low-vision settings can use your site — checked against WCAG fundamentals like contrast, labels, and alt text. This is both the right thing and a legal-exposure question.

  9. Technical Stack & Modernity10 pts

What the site is built on and whether it's aging: outdated platforms, abandoned plugins, and unmaintained dependencies are tomorrow's outage or breach.

  10. Compliance, Business Info & Ongoing Care Signals10 pts

The housekeeping that signals a cared-for business: privacy notice, accurate hours and contact details, working links, current copyright, and evidence someone is actually maintaining the site.

Assessment questions, answered straight

What is the Watchtower assessment?

A free, opt-in 100-point review of your public website across ten categories — performance, security posture, mobile experience, SEO, local presence, content, conversion, accessibility, technical stack, and business-information hygiene. You get a scored report in plain English, whether or not you ever hire us.

Does it cost anything or obligate me to anything?

No. The assessment is free and no-obligation. The report is yours to keep either way — it's how we'd rather earn work than a sales pitch.

Is this a security scan of my systems?

No. The assessment is passive and reviews only what any visitor, browser, or search engine can already see on your public website. We do not run vulnerability scans, penetration tests, or probes, and we never assess a site without the owner's consent — you submit your own domain.

What do I actually receive?

A scored report in plain English: your total out of 100, the score in each of the ten categories, what specifically cost you points, and what we would fix first if it were our site. No jargon dump, no scare tactics.
